Our new Donor Demographic Profile uses the top postal code areas where your donors live.  This profile is based upon the most recent available Statistics Canada Census information.  We find the top ten Forward Sortation Areas (first three letters of the postal code) listed in your donor database.  These are the areas within which many of your donors live.  We combine those top ten to provide a demographic profile of those areas.  This profile is then shown in comparison format to the larger city or geographic area within which the top ten are located.

 

This allows you to get a better understanding of the areas within which your donors live and can help you to gain a better understanding of the overall profile of your donors.

 

From the top ten forward sortation area postal codes in your database you will receive information about;

 

• Age of Population
• Family Size
• Language Spoken at Home
• Immigrant Status
• Education and Fields of Study
• Labour Force and Industry
• Major Occupations
• Family Income
